Google Chrome in Blogger Browser Shame Shock Scam (or something like that)

In their attempt at browser world domination, Google have stopped supporting the Firefox browser on Blogger.
Message reads: Your browser is no longer supported by Blogger.
Some parts of Blogger will not work and you may experience problems.
If you are having problems, try Google Chrome | Dismiss
(So, no ulterior motive there, then)

This may or may not mean anything to you, but the bottom line is that the animated images in some of my blog posts no longer work. And this morning I couldn't even type in Firefox I had to do this post in Internet Explorer. This may be a temorary glitch, but the result is the same - you can no longer see the Wolf Chop or Thatched Beam as intended on many browsers, not exactly earth shattering, but bloody annoying.

There was a time when many thought that Google were making an heroic stand against Microsoft. Now, sadly, they seem to be emulating them. They say it is because they cannot keep up with changes in Firefox. I say Bollocks.

I will be taking them up on their suggestion and Dismissing Blogger as soon as I can (be arsed to) come up with an alternative... Watch this space - of course if you are watching in Firefox nothing is likely to happen.
